The Role of the Regional Territory Manager (Buyer)
Our customers often are surprised at the wide variety of surplus that we buy. Regional territory managers (referred to as buyers) will look to buy anything from a single item to an entire facility. This role is very similar to an outside sales representative.
Each buyer is located within a regional territory, and our entire territory services more than half of the United States. Within our serviced regions, we can have a buyer at a client’s door for items both large and small. Our goal is to turn their client’s surplus into our inventory in a fast and efficient manner.
At a client’s request, an HGR buyer will visit any facility within his or her region to create a list of your surplus. A list can be a single item or an entire plant.
Our primary service is to purchase the surplus and have it out of the client’s facility as soon as they are ready. This involves working with our internal logistics department to coordinate a successful transfer.
